# Configuring Auto-Moderation

{% hint style="danger" %}
Do not replace your server's real moderation with auto-moderation. It supports moderation work, but does not replace it
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
We do NOT have integration with JuniperBot
{% endhint %}

To configure auto-moderation, run the /admin\_panel command. Find the "Auto-Moderation" section and find the "Open Menu" button. Click it

<figure><img src="https://2907848295-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F8Bijd4WREgt6P8JTIedC%2Fuploads%2Fr7RhdSQgBvsohgbj7FjH%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=45801ffa-a889-42f1-ae92-e2545797c5e1" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This is what the menu should look like if you haven't added auto-moderation to your server yet

<figure><img src="https://2907848295-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F8Bijd4WREgt6P8JTIedC%2Fuploads%2Fwuy1j1TIAFFRw5lKx5eq%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=74e98f02-f8b2-47df-b91a-4cadfe71f113" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

And this is what it looks like if you've already added auto-moderation

<figure><img src="https://2907848295-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F8Bijd4WREgt6P8JTIedC%2Fuploads%2F6TaU6zDpgMtxZJr4xXF4%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=7846e7e0-6bf7-4d28-870d-1c054e5a6374" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Getting to know the menu

The "Select ignored channels" dropdown sets which channels (including categories) will be ignored on the server. You can select several such channels or categories

The "Add" (or "Edit") button sets up auto-moderation on the server. Until this button is clicked, auto-moderation won't work (or will work under the old rules) on your server

The "Clear" button (appears once auto-moderation is configured) removes all auto-moderation settings

The "Add Rule" button adds a rule to the rule list

{% hint style="info" %}
You can add up to 10 rules total
{% endhint %}

#### What can you do with rules?

The "Edit" button lets you edit rules. You can learn more about this [below](#dobavlenie-pravila)

The "Delete Rule" button removes a rule from the list

### Adding a rule

Let's add a rule. After clicking the button, a modal window should appear

<figure><img src="https://2907848295-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F8Bijd4WREgt6P8JTIedC%2Fuploads%2FuhYreGCgUrLXYm13TEfz%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=d45c76df-1ca2-4248-8d35-62bd7283bcf8" alt="" width="321"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The "Name" field names your rule. You could name it, for example, "1.1"

{% hint style="success" %}
Rules can have the same name
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
For convenience, give your rules different names
{% endhint %}

The "Description" field should state what's not allowed. For example: "No insulting anyone"

The "Punishment" field should describe what a member will experience after breaking the rule

{% hint style="info" %}
Auto-moderation can only mute and delete messages
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
This feature requires the following permissions: `Manage Messages`, `Timeout Members`, `View Channels`, `Read Message History`
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
Roles that are higher than RBot's highest role will not be moderated by auto-moderation
{% endhint %}

### Additional notes

We recommend placing RBot's role above the member's role, as well as above any of their additional roles

Or place RBot's role 1 position below the administrator role
